Centaur Consult: Case Study
Sky High Kites (Ltd)
Sky High Kites came to us already established as a successful mail-order
business. This client wanted to expand its business to keep up with
competition on the internet. Sky High Kites now has
its own ecommerce website, built and operated by Centaur, along
with an eBay shop, which serves as the main platform for reaching
new customers. These customers can then be directed to the website,
which doesn't have any of the associated costs of selling through
eBay.
The design of the website and eBay shop are
both in-house productions by Centaur and we continue to provide
effective shop management and evolution as the client's product
range and focus changes.
The website accepts payments by all major credit
and debit cards through a third-party merchant, Metacharge, and
also accepts other payments such as Paypal. It also allows customers
to place an order and send a payment by post to keep in line with
the existing mail-order business.
